Its never been easier to make your own Starry-Sky ‘Space’ Ceiling than it is now with our Starry-Sky Ceiling Kits.

Using either Kit 1 with Starglow ‘Glow’ paint or Kit 2 with Starglow SuperStars, you can easily create individual recognisable ‘Star Constellations’ and even astrological ‘Birth Signs’ which when combined with our Pixie Paint for its amazing ‘Milky-way’ effect, means you can now create a stunning ‘Starry-Sky’ effect which is ‘virtually’ invisible* in the daytime but totally amazing at night!

* Please Note: If you apply over a white surface the paint should be ‘virtually’ unnoticeable to the casual observer in daytime. However it is not ‘totally’ invisible. Ideally this paint is best used on a CLEAN white ‘textured’ ceiling, as smooth ‘matt’ ceilings tend draw the eye to the slightest blemish. Pixie paint has ‘satin sheen’ to it, so it may be noticeable under certain lighting or from certain viewing angles. However the pleasure and enjoyment of a Starry Ceiling at night far outweighs any minor daytime presence.

These products are NOT suitable for used on skin.

Children should always be supervised when using this product.

UV Charging

Luminous ‘glow in the dark’ paint requires charging with invisible UV light which it then converts to visible light (it’s glow) in real time. However, we are unable see the affect in daylight as it is too weak.

Once charged on UV light, the paint will glow brightly for a short period then settle into a dimmer but longer lasting glow, diminishing gradually over time.

This cycle can be repeated indefinitely as the paint is recharged over and over again.

If after being charged by normal room lighting your glow paint only produces a dim or short lived glow, it means the current lighting is unsuitable for charging the paint. This may be because the lights are too weak or they do not emit sufficient UV energy, or both!

In such cases we suggest purchasing a plug-in UV black light bulb to replace a ceiling light, or if that is not possible, a mains powered UV black light unit.  The UV light be turned on 20 minutes or so before bedtime in order to energise the glow paint before lights out.

This should produce a dramatic (and WoW inspiring) improvement which should last all night long.

Important Note:
You should not rely on daylight to charge your glow paint, as it takes 2-3 hours for day to turn into night, during which time the energy being absorbed by the paint diminishes rapidly, but its glow does not!  The consequence of this means that by the time it actually becomes dark, the paint will have exhausted its stored energy and only able to produce a low-level dim glow.

UK Delivery options

Standard Delivery is a flat rate delivery charge using Royal Mail’s 1st Class Parcel Post.

Special-Delivery (small parcels) and UK Courier (larger/heavier parcels) will provide a swift next day delivery from the day of dispatch and NOT from the date of order.

Note: We do not to offer a specific ‘Next Day Delivery’ option as we cannot realistically guarantee such a service, especially in the current climate.

If you require a recorded / tracked delivery, please select either the Express Delivery or Courier Delivery option at checkout.

EU & International Orders

As of July 1st 2021 there are new EU rules on how VAT is charged for online / web orders.  As a result, orders originating from any EU country below a net value of 150 Euros / £135 will now have VAT added at the prevailing rate of that country. We therefore have a £136 Minimum Order Value for Private (Non-Business) EU orders.

NOTE:  Whilst we will not add VAT to your order, VAT and Customs charges will be payable once the goods have arrived in your country.

EU Businesses with a verifiable VAT and EORI number will not be affected by this change and may contact us directly if they need to place an order below £136 net, however, we do have a standard £50 net Minimum Order Value for ALL EU and International orders.

We will only ship EU and International orders at the Buyers risk. Once the goods are handed over to the courier they become the buyers property and responsibility.

For reasons of security and speed, we only ship EU and International orders via Express Courier.  Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
