A premium grade, water-based (solvent-free) glow-in-the-dark ‘Starry-Night’ ceiling paint.

Starglow Luminous Paints contain higher concentrations of pigments than ordinary glow-in-the-dark paints, for a higher performance and richer glow. Starglow Pixie Paint contains thousands of tiny glowing crystals, which when charged with natural or artificial light, will glow just like real stars. At night this magical starry-sky paint will transform any white ceiling into a magical vista of shining stars.  Apply to a white ceiling and its MATT finish will help it discreetly blend in during the daytime.

Important Notes

Before adopting commercially, prospective users of our products are advised to firstly purchase a sample in order to fully evaluate the product’s suitability for purpose.

Starglow Smart paints are made fresh to order and therefore large orders may incur an extended lead time for production. If you have an urgent requirement, please contact us to obtain lead time estimate.

Glow-in-the-Dark / luminous paints are not really suitable where daylight is the only source of energy for the paints to obtain their charge. We recommend the use of a mains-powered Black light to ensure a maximum charge and best glow performance.

Due to the large particle size content of this paint it should always be applied where it will be out of the reach of children and not exposed to any physical contact that may dislodge the particles.

For best results, always apply over a white or white-primed surface.  The darker the background colour the weaker the glow!

On a textured ceiling this coating is not really noticeable owing to the pattern disguising the presence of the paint. However if it is applied to a smooth white, matt surface, the paint will become more visible / apparent.

For for best results order and use paint when it is required, as the large and heavier particles used in this paint will eventually settle and become difficult to re-mix / reconstitute the paint if left standing for an extended period of time.

This paint are NOT suitable for use on skin.

Do not allow children to use this product unsupervised.

UV Charging

Luminous ‘glow in the dark’ paint requires charging with invisible UV light which it then converts to visible light (it’s glow) in real time. However, we are unable see the affect in daylight as it is too weak.

Once charged on UV light, the paint will glow brightly for a short period then settle into a dimmer but longer lasting glow, diminishing gradually over time.

This cycle can be repeated indefinitely as the paint is recharged over and over again.

If after being charged by normal room lighting your glow paint only produces a dim or short lived glow, it means the current lighting is unsuitable for charging the paint. This may be because the lights are too weak or they do not emit sufficient UV energy, or both!

In such cases we suggest purchasing a plug-in UV black light bulb to replace a ceiling light, or if that is not possible, a mains powered UV black light unit.  The UV light be turned on 20 minutes or so before bedtime in order to energise the glow paint before lights out.

This should produce a dramatic (and WoW inspiring) improvement which should last all night long.

Important Note:
You should not rely on daylight to charge your glow paint, as it takes 2-3 hours for day to turn into night, during which time the energy being absorbed by the paint diminishes rapidly, but its glow does not!  The consequence of this means that by the time it actually becomes dark, the paint will have exhausted its stored energy and only able to produce a low-level dim glow.

UK Delivery options

Standard Delivery is a flat rate delivery charge using Royal Mail’s 1st Class Parcel Post.

Special-Delivery (small parcels) and UK Courier (larger/heavier parcels) will provide a swift next day delivery from the day of dispatch and NOT from the date of order.

Note: We do not to offer a specific ‘Next Day Delivery’ option as we cannot realistically guarantee such a service, especially in the current climate.

If you require a recorded / tracked delivery, please select either the Express Delivery or Courier Delivery option at checkout.

EU & International Orders

As of July 1st 2021 there are new EU rules on how VAT is charged for online / web orders.  As a result, orders originating from any EU country below a net value of 150 Euros / £135 will now have VAT added at the prevailing rate of that country. We therefore have a £136 Minimum Order Value for Private (Non-Business) EU orders.

NOTE:  Whilst we will not add VAT to your order, VAT and Customs charges will be payable once the goods have arrived in your country.

EU Businesses with a verifiable VAT and EORI number will not be affected by this change and may contact us directly if they need to place an order below £136 net, however, we do have a standard £50 net Minimum Order Value for ALL EU and International orders.

We will only ship EU and International orders at the Buyers risk. Once the goods are handed over to the courier they become the buyers property and responsibility.

For reasons of security and speed, we only ship EU and International orders via Express Courier.  Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
